We are the exclusive Aster Technologies distributor for the german speaking parts of Europe.

Using Aster software gives you advantages throughout the full lifecycle of your products.

  • During the design phase TestWay Express allows you starting from the netlist phase to predict your test coverage for your chosen test strategies (SPI /AIO /AXI /ICT /FCT) vendor independant and using additional data (dpmo) indicate the production yield and error/slip rates (Production Model).
  • In addition Testway can advise where you need probe access and where in combination with other test strategies like boundary-scan you can achieve the same test coverage without physical access (testpoint saver). For incremental test access, testway gives you indications how additional probe access can increase test coverage (device test improvement)
  • Once the layout is finished Testway can export data/test program for a large variety of test systems & vendors (either complete test programs or in function of the test system environment optimized data) ! For the Agilent / Keysight i3070 Testway generates like many other solutions the "board" & "board_xy" files (electrical & mechanical description) as well as the required libraries. Using these libraries saves precious time as fixture building can start quickly and test vectors could be added during the building process in masked time. For other test systems fully functional test programs can be exported! E.g. for Takaya Flying Prober systems the testway generated program is typically 20-30% faster than other toolchains with reduced debug time but increased coverage!
  • Once the test program is in production, Testway TPQR (Test Program Quality Report) allows to read-back the achieved test coverage (for the i3070 either the "Coverage Analyst" Report and/or the "Test Grader" results) . This allows either to cross-check the coverage against the estimation or to generate the real comulated test coverage across all test strategies. In addition this allows to identify redundant testing to save test time (test balancing) .
  • In addition Testway has a sophisticated clusterer recognition which allows to identify & implement cluster testing for various test systems.
  • Additionally there is a plug-in allowing a seamless integration in LabView funktional tests for visualisation & repair.

  • The QUAD (Quality Advisor) Daabase supports you during production, as logfiles from various test systems and various production steps can be agregated, analyzed and visualized (for documentation purposes & repair or for traceability).

  • When repairing your products and as a convenient and powerful viewer QUADView is very essential as it has a fully synchronized graphical view for layout & schematics, virtual schematics and text. You can interactively switch between all views and capture your detailed information. Aster has developed routines, to digitize the schematics allowing to have detailed navigation on component or pin level even for legacy projects. Asing additional options (TWsystem), the navigation is even possible at system level (a set of interconnected cards)! Last but not least a error ticket viewer is included allowing fast repair and including repair hints (Sherlock Algorythm) and a convenient shorts locator
  • In order to document your test strategy & coverage or to generate work step documentation or rework instgructions (ECO) the  TWdocumentator which is a Plugin in Microsoft Word allows access to all kind of information about your product.

  • DFMexpress is a accessible & convenient tool for mechanical validation of new designs (DFM). A customizable set of rules together with a intuitive GUI and the usage of templates allows running analyses with ease

  • FABexpress is a powerful replacement for legacy/eos toolchains for data conversion or test program generation. It allows to generate testpoint lists, drill files, mechanical cad data files as well as machine output (which vary from fully working test programs to optimized raw data depending on the architecture of your machines).
