Requirements for Test program generation:
- electrical schematics
- Layout data (in a ASCII readible exchange format like e.g. GenCad, ODB++,...)
alternatively at least a electrical netlist and Testpoint corrdinates - Bill of Material/BOM (Text, Excel, ..., but not PDF), if applicapble multiple BOMs for multiple Variants
- Configuration of the Test system (Hardware & Software Options)
Optional:
- Test specification (if available)
- Information about components to be programmed (and the type of data e.g. Fixed HEX file or variable Data lice Serial Numbers,...)
- Information how/where the PCB needs to be powered
- Which test techniques are to be used (e.g. Connectors / ICs with VTEP or nanoVTEP, Boundary-Scan,...)
- Funktional tests required
- Type of the test fixture (vakuum, vakuum with vaccuum free zone, inLine, CRS, Rigid Pin)
- Specials (e.g. Barcode / DMC Reader, Programmers to be used, Fixture Hardware ...)
- Additional requirements (e.g. special fixture builder, spcial probe types, ...)
- for Inline fixtures the transport direction and the stopper position
